Michelle Klurstein is a Senior Luxury Property Specialist in her 20th year of luxury real estate practice, working exclusively in Marin and the Wine Country.

Growing up in the Bay Area, Michelle hails from a family steeped in real estate investment as the principle means of creating wealth in her family. Her guidance to always consider this aspect has been invaluable to her clients through the years. Michelle knows the neighborhoods inside and out and can streamline comparing value, appreciation and local amenities between one community and another. She is a networker and an insider amongst her peers and has an up to the minute pulse on constant market shifts.

Michelle’s marketing skills have yielded some of the best results in Marin for record setting sales prices in short listing periods. She has a full resource team and has handled dozens of property renovations. Her fine-tuned skills in the art of the deal are invaluable to both buyers and sellers in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world. Above all, Michelle regards her client relationships with respect, confidentiality and a smile; creating win-win transitions that ensure happiness is the end result for all parties. She has received the Agent Achievement Award for sales volume several years since 2005.

Michelle was Shelter Bay HOA Board Vice President from 2006-2008. During her tenure she spearheaded major renovations to the 107 unit complex involving reconstruction, contractor selection & communications, project prioritizing and meeting deadlines. She was a principle interface with the membership at large. These efforts have resulted in dramatic increases in property values and aesthetics enjoyed by all residents. Michelle is in the top 10% of condo listing agents in Marin.

Community involvement at large has always been a focus. She has chaired multiple events through the years for Mt. Tamalpais School, Tam High Foundation and The Mill Valley Film Festival. In addition she supports numerous charities including Homeward Bound, Ritter House, historic Throckmorton Theatre and Kiddo.

Outside real estate, Michelle spends weekends in North Beach and Napa, loves travel (returning as often as possible to Paris, her one time home for 10 years), concerts with the San Francisco Symphony, visits her 28 year old daughter in LA, hiking, her body sculpt classes and very specially, and her ongoing work as an Accredited Docent with Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (de Young and Legion of Honor), now in her 24th year of service.
